Roof Mounting
flush rails with factory rails
The 1st-generation Toyota Corolla Cross (2022+) uses flush roof rails on trims equipped with rails. This compact crossover requires Thule Evo Flush Rail (7106) or Yakima StreamLine towers with a vehicle-specific adapter. The Corolla Cross has a compact roofline β crossbar spread is approximately 30-34 inches with rail-to-rail span of 40 inches. This accommodates compact to medium cargo boxes and standard carrier accessories. As Toyota's entry-level crossover with rails, the Corolla Cross bridges the gap between the HR-V (bare roof) and the RAV4 (raised rails). The flush rail system provides better load security than doorframe clamps but requires more installation time. The hybrid variant has identical roof structure and load ratings β battery placement below the floor does not affect roof capacity.
